The Mukhyamantri  Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, launched a few weeks ago in Maharashtra, seems to be getting a good response from common women. Some rules have now been changed to make the application of Maji Ladaki Bahin Yojana simple and easy. In the recently held cabinet meeting, 6 new rules and terms and conditions have been implemented. The government decision in this regard will also be implemented soon.

If the marriage registration of a newly married woman is not possible immediately for Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, the husband's ration card will be accepted as proof as per the marriage certificate of the woman. Also, if a woman is born in a foreign state and gets married to a man residing in Maharashtra, that woman can avail the benefit of the scheme on her husband's documents. Along with this, many new rules are going to be implemented for Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana. Due to this maximum number of women will be able to benefit from this scheme.

New Rules for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

1. Post Bank account will be accepted for availing this scheme.

2. If a woman is born in a foreign state and marries a man domiciled in Maharashtra, the woman will get the benefit of the scheme on her husband's documents.

3. The list of beneficiary women will have to be read every Saturday through the village level committee. Also, if there is any change in it, that too has to be done.

4. A woman availing the benefit of the central government scheme should be considered as a beneficiary. However, offline application should be filled by her.

5. If the marriage registration of a newly married woman is not possible immediately, the ration card of the husband as per the marriage certificate of the woman should be accepted as proof.

6. Duration of OTP should be 10 minutes.

3000 will be deposited in the bank               

Meanwhile, many efforts are being made by the government to make the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana more accessible and easy. Against this backdrop, the state government has relaxed the documents. Interestingly, the list of beneficiary women will be announced soon. As soon as this list is announced, the women in that list will get direct benefits from 15th to 19th August. According to this, an amount of Rs. 3000 will be deposited in the bank account of the women for the two months of July and August.
